Dr. Paris grew up in Mohall, ND.  He graduated in 1975 from Minot State University with a B.S. in Biology, and began teaching high school science and coaching girls basketball in Lambert and Lolo, Montana.  He taught for 5 years before deciding to go into optometry.  In 1984, he graduated with an optometry degree from Pacific University, College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.  He has served Moscow's visual needs for over 22 years now, and hopes to continue practicing for many years to come.

Dr. Paris is a member of the American Optometric Association, and attends conferences all over the U.S., learning new techniques and procedures.  He is also a member of the local Elks Association and helps plan many of their local fundraisers.  In his free time, Dr. Paris enjoys, cross country skiing, sports, golfing, as well as backpacking and traveling in his RV with his wife Connie, and daughter, Blake.

Justin M. Rowe, O.D.

Dr. Rowe, the newest member of Paris Vision Center,  was born and raised in Salt Lake City Utah.  At the age of 15 his family moved to Tokyo, where he went to high school and learned Japanese.  He received his bachelors in Zoology at Brigham Young University.  Dr. Rowe then attended and graduated from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon.  During the last year of optometry school he moved to Landstuhl Germany where he worked with military Optometrist and Ophthalmologists at the Landstuhl  Regional Medical Center for three months.  He has also had the opportunity to work with two of the nations leading developmental optometrists (vision therapy specialists), Dr. Robin Lewis of Phoenix, Arizona, and Dr. Dorothy Parrott of Denver, Colorado.  Dr. Rowe greatly enjoys working with children, and specializes in vision therapy, which helps individuals with crossed eyes, lazy eyes, and other eye conditions overcome these difficulties.  He also focuses on Low Vision, a service helping people that suffer from debilitating eye conditions, such as Glaucoma and macular degeneration.  Low vision devices help these individuals better function in their daily lives.

Dr. Rowe and his wife and three children moved to Moscow in May, 2007, and are enjoying getting to know the town and its people.  Dr. Rowe's hobbies include camping, hiking, photography, and running.  He ran the Top of Utah Marathon in 2001, and plans to run another one someday.
